Old surface removal
Removing and disposing of an existing driveway, path or slab.
Almost every concreting job starts with site prep, and it's the part that determines how the finished concrete actually performs. A driveway or slab poured onto a poorly prepared base is far more likely to crack or settle unevenly, regardless of how good the concrete itself is.
Removing and disposing of an existing driveway, path or slab.
Cutting and filling to bring a sloped site to the required grade.
Compacted road base laid and compacted to the depth the job needs.
Getting falls and drainage points right before concrete goes down.
A concrete slab or driveway is only as good as what's underneath it. A properly compacted sub-base spreads load evenly and resists movement. Poor compaction is one of the most common causes of cracking and uneven settling further down the track, and it stays invisible once the concrete is down. That's exactly why it gets assessed at the on-site measure.

Removing an existing surface costs more than working on prepared ground.
